Characteristics and Type of Beach

The formation of the Ziu Santoru Beach is characterized by the dense vegetation behind it, located in a relatively inaccessible area, it reminds us of an unspoiled small cove, the distance and isolation make it suitable for the adventurous.

With a length of 68 meters and an average width of approximately 6 meters, it has a surface area of 408 square meters and can accommodate a maximum of 51 people comfortably.

The Beach is composed of Fine sand sand of White sand color, with vegetation behind it, mainly characterized by Mediterranean scrub.

Seabed Sand and rocks

The sea has a Turquoise color, with a mixed seabed of sand and rocks.

The bathymetric lines approach as you move away from the shore, characteristic of a beach with deep water.

The Ziu Santoru Beach is open access, without a specific limit defined by law. The maximum capacity of 51 people is purely indicative and is determined using the guidelines of beach resorts, assuming approximately 8 square meters per person, taking into account beach chairs or towels, umbrellas, and a perimeter passage area.

It should also be noted that on all Sardinian coasts, Article 40 of Regional Law No. 16 of July 28, 2017, paragraph 2, states: Except where the act constitutes a more serious offense, anyone who removes, possesses, sells even small quantities of sand, pebbles, stones, or shells from the coast or the sea without proper authorization or concession issued by the competent authorities is subject to an administrative fine of 500 to 3,000 euros.

How to Get to Ziu Santoru Beach

By Sea

You can also reach the beach by sea using small boats, either private or rented, utilizing the dedicated launching corridor on the beach. Furthermore, it should be noted that the launching corridor is generally intended for transit purposes for unloading/loading. The boat should be anchored according to the instructions of the beach staff. In the absence of a launching corridor, the boat should be moored at a certain distance from the coast. it Unica! Ho letto che la sabbia è stagionale, ossia può esserci come no. Ci sono comunque delle scogliere comode dove appoggiarsi. Personalmente penso sia una delle calette più belle che io abbia mai visto, unica pecca è che il sentiero può essere difficoltoso e soprattutto non corrispondente a ciò che viene indicato da Google Maps. Se vi piace camminare anche in sentieri poco comodi va la consiglio sicuramente!

it Sono stata questa mattina, purtroppo non una bella esperienza. Circa a meta' strada del sentiero da Cala Fuili a Cala Luna parte il sentiero per Ziu Santoru..molto sconnesso con un tratto finale in cui ci si deve arrampicare sulla roccia, per niente semplice. Poi arrivati al mare piu' che una caletta ad accoglierci sono stati un insieme di svogli/sassoni sconnessi e scogli piu'piatti e scivolosi che venivano praticamente sommersi dalle onde, impossibile stazionarci. Sono dovuta risalire subito. Sicuramente il mare un po' mosso non ha aiutato.. per finire c'erano parecchie marche/ gommoni stazionati di fronte..

it Purtroppo non c'è più spiaggia, solo grandi scogli con una lingua di sabbia che agevola solo ľingresso in acqua. Dal sentiero un'insegna di legno indica il punto in cui deviare e scendere. Sostanzialmente si percorre il greto (secco) di un torrentello. Questo è ľunico punto in cui fare attenzione ma è fattibilissimo, il resto del sentiero è una bella passeggiata, a patto di avere delle scarpe adatte! Niente ciabatte né converse e altre scarpe con suola liscia! Portare abbondante scorta di acqua, fa molto caldo

it Sul sentiero che porta a cala Luna, ci sono da scoprire altre cale tra cui la fantastica spiaggia di ziu Santoru! Non è molto conosciuta, quindi frequentata davvero da pochi! Per raggiungerla a piedi ci sono solo un paio di punti da prestare più attenzione, per il resto basta seguire il sentiero! Meravigliosa!

it Sentiero un po' impervio nell' ultimo tratto e non segnato... Ma basta seguire Google Maps con percorso a piedi per arrivarci. In pieno agosto eravamo solo noi 4 e qualcuno con la canoa.... Mare meraviglioso... Vivamente consigliato per chi ama la tranquillità e un po' di avventura
