Characteristics and Type of Beach

The formation of the Punta Cardinalino Beach is characterized by the dense vegetation behind it, located in a relatively inaccessible area, it reminds us of an unspoiled small cove, the distance and isolation make it suitable for the adventurous.

With a length of 30 meters and an average width of approximately 7 meters, it has a surface area of 210 square meters and can accommodate a maximum of 26 people comfortably.

The Beach is composed of Coarse sand sand of Orange sand color, with vegetation behind it, mainly characterized by Mediterranean scrub.

The sea has a Emerald color, with a predominantly rocky seabed.

The bathymetric lines approach as you move away from the shore, characteristic of a beach with deep water.

The Punta Cardinalino Beach is open access, without a specific limit defined by law. The maximum capacity of 26 people is purely indicative and is determined using the guidelines of beach resorts, assuming approximately 8 square meters per person, taking into account beach chairs or towels, umbrellas, and a perimeter passage area.

It should also be noted that on all Sardinian coasts, Article 40 of Regional Law No. 16 of July 28, 2017, paragraph 2, states: Except where the act constitutes a more serious offense, anyone who removes, possesses, sells even small quantities of sand, pebbles, stones, or shells from the coast or the sea without proper authorization or concession issued by the competent authorities is subject to an administrative fine of 500 to 3,000 euros.

How to Get to Punta Cardinalino Beach

Private Vehicles

You can reach the beach by private vehicle, using the road that leads to the parking area near the beach.

By Sea

You can also reach the beach by sea using small boats, either private or rented, utilizing the dedicated launching corridor on the beach. Furthermore, it should be noted that the launching corridor is generally intended for transit purposes for unloading/loading. The boat should be anchored according to the instructions of the beach staff. In the absence of a launching corridor, the boat should be moored at a certain distance from the coast. For more information, we recommend contacting the tourist information center at the municipality of Palau

it Bellissima Spiaggia incontaminata! Un sentiero di 15-20 min che inizia dal parcheggio di Capo dell’orso e conduce al mare turchese di questa spiaggia appartata! Il sentiero nella parte finale è a tratti impervio ma se siete amanti della natura e dell’avventura non potete non andarci! Il fondale è un mix di sassi e sabbia, ricco di ricci di mare e capita di vedere polpi e stelle marine! Consigliato agli audaci!

it Caletta stupenda , ci si sta in 20 massimo direi , fondale con scogli e ricci , colori spettacolari. Il parcheggio è quello per andare a roccia dell’orso , poi 20 minuti di camminata , un po’ di macchia che graffia le gambe magari ,ma nulla di che . Ne vale la pena 100 volte.

it Bella spiaggetta a pochi passi dal faro di Capo D'Orso, poco frequentata e si consiglia una passeggiata suggestiva sino al faro.

it La spiaggia si raggiunge solo tramite un sentiero poco agevole dove a tratti bisognava farsi strada tra cespugli, erba alta e piante spinose...ci siamo arresi a metà percorso, peccato perché dalle foto la spiaggia sembra molto carina

it Caletta molto piccola suggestiva e tutt'altro che affollata, ottima per una nuotata con maschera e boccaglio, meno per l'abbronzatura sul bagnasciuga visto che la parte con acqua bassa è quasi totalmente coperta di sassi di grandi dimensioni. Acqua limpida e sabbia composta da sassolini di piccole dimensioni. È raggiungibile dal parcheggio della roccia dell'orso attraverso un sentiero di una ventina di minuti. Passando oltre la prima caletta si può arrivare ad altre due piccole cale (veramente piccole) ma molto belle
