it has a surface area of 21800 square meters and can accommodate a maximum of 2725 people

The Tancau Beach is open access, without a specific limit defined by law. The maximum capacity of 2725 people is purely indicative and is determined
using the guidelines of beach resorts, assuming approximately 8 square meters per person, taking into account beach chairs or towels, umbrellas, and a perimeter passage area.
It should also be noted that on all Sardinian coasts, Article 40 of Regional Law No. 16 of July 28, 2017, paragraph 2, states:
Except where the act constitutes a more serious offense, anyone who removes, possesses, sells even small quantities of sand, pebbles, stones, or shells from the coast or the sea without
proper authorization or concession issued by the competent authorities is subject to an administrative fine of 500 to 3,000 euros.

Private Vehicles
You can reach the beach by private vehicle, using the road that leads to the parking area near the beach.
By Sea
You can also reach the beach by sea using small boats, either private or rented, utilizing the dedicated launching corridor on the beach. Furthermore, it should be noted that the launching corridor is generally intended
for transit purposes for unloading/loading. The boat should be anchored according to the instructions of the beach staff. In the absence of a launching corridor, the boat should be moored at a certain distance from the coast. For more information,

Spiaggia di ghiaia, ampia e lunga. Libera ed a tratti con qualche ombrellone e lettino su richiesta ed a pagamento. C'è un bel bar che fa serate con cene tipiche sarde su prenotazione. Mare splendido ma a tratti con alghe e pesci che pizzicano le gambe. Parcheggio per auto introvabile. Assolutamente non lasciare l'auto in divieto di sosta perché i vigili sono sempre in agguato

La spiaggia è piuttosto lunga ed è caratterizzata da sabbia di colore dorato chiaro a grani medi, priva di alghe spiaggiate e circondata da una bellissima piccola pineta. Il meraviglioso mare dalle acque cristalline si presenta di un colore cangiante tra l'azzurro e le sfumature del turchese, con un fondale medio basso e sabbioso. Davanti alla spiaggia si può ammirare l'Isolotto d'Ogliastra. Mediamente frequentata durante il periodo estivo, non risulta mai affollata grazie alle sue dimensioni. Qui sono presenti punti ristoro, bar, ristoranti, campeggi e bagni direttamente nei pressi della spiaggia. E' possibile noleggiare attrezzature come ombrelloni, lettini e pedalò. Consiglio il bagno Ristorante Tancau, una garanzia!

Spiaggia facilmente raggiungibile sia in auto che a piedi dalla vicina Santa Maria Navarrese . Nel primo tratto di spiaggia ci sono solo pietre ma basta camminare 10 minuti verso arbatax per trovare la sabbia . Il mare è profondo fin da subito .Spiaggia mai troppo affollata . Nota negativa : non ci sono cestini in tutta la spiaggia !! I due bar nelle vicinanze sono di scarsa qualità .

Grande e bella spiaggia; è sempre ventilato, vi è un grande punto di ristoro in spiaggia, servizio bagnino, noleggio pattini; Dietro un bel ristorante.

Spiaggia enorme e quasi interamente libera. Non la migliore della zona, ma comunque mare di alta qualità. Ideale anche per lunghe passe lungo la battigia.
