The formation of the Cala Mariolu Beach, it reminds us of a relatively large cove, the distance and isolation make it suitable for the adventurous.

With a length of 230 meters and an average width of approximately 10 meters, it has a surface area of 2300 square meters and can accommodate a maximum of 700 people comfortably.

The Sand

White sand

The Beach is composed of Pebbles sand of White sand color, with vegetation behind it, mainly characterized by Mediterranean scrub.

The sea has a Turquoise color, with a predominantly sandy seabed.

The bathymetric lines approach as you move away from the shore, characteristic of a beach with deep water.

The Cala Mariolu Beach is limited to a specific number of people with a maximum capacity of 700 people, as defined by the municipality of Baunei.

It should also be noted that on all Sardinian coasts, Article 40 of Regional Law No. 16 of July 28, 2017, paragraph 2, states: Except where the act constitutes a more serious offense, anyone who removes, possesses, sells even small quantities of sand, pebbles, stones, or shells from the coast or the sea without proper authorization or concession issued by the competent authorities is subject to an administrative fine of 500 to 3,000 euros.

By Sea

You can also reach the beach by sea using small boats, either private or rented, utilizing the dedicated launching corridor on the beach. Furthermore, it should be noted that the launching corridor is generally intended for transit purposes for unloading/loading. The boat should be anchored according to the instructions of the beach staff. In the absence of a launching corridor, the boat should be moored at a certain distance from the coast. it Meravigliosa! Semplicemente tra i posti di mare migliori al mondo. Ho viaggiato e visto luoghi paradisiaci, ma questa Cala ha i colori più belli del mondo. La pietra bianca sott'acqua fa vedere colori pazzeschi! Impossibile rinunciare alla visita di questa meraviglia della natura. Peccato non si possa godere senza gente, strepitosa davvero.

it Arrivati qui con una tor in barca locale.. siamo stati i primi a sbarcare e per una 20ina minuti è sembrato di essere in paradiso.. mare cristallino pesci in riva che ti nuotano intorno e ghiaia bianchissima.. c'era anche il sole.. il che quest'anno non è scontato.. davvero merita una visita..

it Che dire...non ci sono parole per descriverne la bellezza. Si può giungere da battello con minicrocera che include altre soste su altre calette, come cala Luna, molto suggestiva per le sue grotte e cala sisina. Spiaggia formata da ciottoli e fauna marina superiore alla media. Da visitare assolutamente

it Spiaggia in sassi e piccola ghiaia circondata da un segmento circolare di rocce che la taglia all'interno. I colori prevalenti del fondale sono azzurro e blu; l'acqua è cristallina: numerosi i banchi di pesce in varie forme e dimensioni. La spiaggia è raggiungibile via mare mediante i battelli turistici o alcuni sentieri di trekking percorribili con idonea attrezzatura.

it Fatto il percorso escursionistico a piedi dal Golgo. Non per tutti: bisogna essere allenati e attrezzati ( d'obbligo gli scarponi), 2 ore abbondanti andata e altrettanti al ritorno. La fatica è ripagata da un panorama mozzafiato e da una piccolissima spiaggia di sassolini con acqua color turchese.

it Noi abbiamo prenotato 2 giorni prima la barca direttamente in agenzia Il nuovo consorzio marittimo Ogliastra a Arbatax costo 60 euro gli adulti e 20 i bambini sotto i 14 anni. La prima tappa della gita in barca è stata Cala Mariolu veramente fantastica acqua dai colori bellissimi e pieno di pesci, mio figlio ha avuto anche la possibilità di tuffarsi dallo scoglio, che dire un paradiso unica pecca la gente in agosto è veramente pieno; la sosta è di 2 ore dopodiché si prosegue con la seconda tappa Cala Sisina, carina ma neanche da mettere con Cala Mariolu, sosta 90 minuti. La terza tappa avrebbe dovuto essere cala Luna ma purtroppo c'era bassa marea e la barca non ha potuto spostare peccato abbiamo comunque fatto un ulteriore sosta di 90 minuti a Cala Mariolu.

it Una caletta meravigliosa la spiaggia e il fondale di sasssolini bianchi rendono l'acqua quasi caraibica. Raggiunta via terra tramite un impegnativo sentiero con dislivello di circa 700 mt parzialmente ombreggiato da lecci nella parte più bassa, il sentiero ogni tanto presenta qualche passaggio un po' più tecnico su rocce con corda e scalette in legno alla vista precarie ma ancora solide. Non adatto a famiglie con bimbi piccoli. Necessaria tanta acqua, scarpe da trekking e voglia di camminare. Unico punto negativo il sovraffollamento causato dal continuo arrivo di barconi pieni di turisti mordi e fuggi. Sarebbe ora che qualcuno prendesse dei provvedimenti e limitasse l'afflusso in quanto pure a settembre ha raggiunto livelli imbarazzanti

it Stesso discorso delle altre cale. E' un posto favoloso, l'acqua limpidissima con colori che variano dal celeste all'azzurro fa sembrare il luogo un angolo dei Caraibi. Peccato che l'enorme affollamento gli toglie tutto il fascino. Noi, per evitare il problema, abbiamo noleggiato un gommone, siamo partiti la mattina presto ed abbiamo preceduto l'arrivo dei barconi con centinaia di turisti a bordo. Quando i barconi arrivavano ci spostavano nella cala successiva, e così via.

it Posto stupendo. Caletta raggiungibile tramite dei traghetti che fanno fare un tour di varie calette con sosta in spiaggia per fare un tuffo in acqua. L'acqua è limpida. La spiaggia non è sabbiosa, ha solo sassi che sono presenti anche in acqua. Consigliato portarsi dietro delle scarpette da scoglio. È presente un chioschetto per poter prendere qualcosa da bere o da stuzzicare. Non ci sono docce o bagni. Consigliato munirsi di ombrellone, non c'è praticamente ombra.

it Una delle spiagge più belle che ho visto in Sardegna. Raggiungibile solo via mare tramite visite organizzate o noleggiando un gommone, nella spiaggia ci sono gli appositi attracchi per i gommoni per fare scendere le persone. Essendo tra le spiagge più belle è da evitare se si vuole stare tranquilli in quanto la spiaggia è piena di gente, essendo raggiungibile solo via mare c'è un continuo ricambio di gente che permette di trovare posto facilmente
