The formation of the Cala Spinosa Beach is characterized by the dense vegetation behind it, located in a relatively inaccessible area, it reminds us of an unspoiled small cove, the distance and isolation make it suitable for the adventurous.

With a length of 40 meters and an average width of approximately 8 meters, it has a surface area of 320 square meters and can accommodate a maximum of 40 people comfortably.

The Cala Spinosa Beach is open access, without a specific limit defined by law. The maximum capacity of 40 people is purely indicative and is determined using the guidelines of beach resorts, assuming approximately 8 square meters per person, taking into account beach chairs or towels, umbrellas, and a perimeter passage area.

It should also be noted that on all Sardinian coasts, Article 40 of Regional Law No. 16 of July 28, 2017, paragraph 2, states: Except where the act constitutes a more serious offense, anyone who removes, possesses, sells even small quantities of sand, pebbles, stones, or shells from the coast or the sea without proper authorization or concession issued by the competent authorities is subject to an administrative fine of 500 to 3,000 euros.

You can reach the beach by private vehicle, using the road that leads to the parking area near the beach.

By Sea

You can also reach the beach by sea using small boats, either private or rented, utilizing the dedicated launching corridor on the beach. Furthermore, it should be noted that the launching corridor is generally intended for transit purposes for unloading/loading. The boat should be anchored according to the instructions of the beach staff. In the absence of a launching corridor, the boat should be moored at a certain distance from the coast. it Luogo incantevole ed essendo nascosto poco frequentato. La discesa è quasi in verticale quindi consigliata solo per chi ha una preparazione adeguata e assolutamente da non fare in infradito ! Arrivati giù non avrete più voglia di risalire perché rimarrete senza fiato

it Difficile trovare il punto da cui scendere. Ciononostante troppa gente. Parcheggi a pagamento tutti occupati e fuori dalle righe blu la multa è sicura. Ma soprattutto il posto NON VALE LA PENA: le recensioni entusiastiche sono decisamente esagerate.

it Un piccolo angolo di paradiso, una deliziosa caletta a nord di Capo Testa, una delle perle di Santa Teresa Gallura, sull’estrema costa settentrionale della Sardegna. Il contrasto tra i colori brillanti del mare, le calde rocce granitiche e la sabbia dorata infonde un senso di contemplazione al cospetto di bellezza e forza della natura. Piccola e incontaminata, appartata e placida, la meravigliosa Cala Spinosa occupa la parte settentrionale dell’impervio promontorio di Capo Testa, in prossimità del mitico faro guardiano delle Bocche di Bonifacio, a quattro chilometri (lungo la provinciale 90) dall’abitato di Santa Teresa Gallura, ambita meta turistica. Lo scenario è suggestivo e maestoso: la caletta è incastonata tra alte pareti rocciose che ‘precipitano’ a strapiombo nel mare, riparata dai venti e circondata da profumate essenze mediterranee. Il suo corto e stretto arenile è composta da sabbia di un delicato color oro a grani medi, intervallata da ciottoli e rocce. Alle spalle l’abbraccio di pareti di tufo e dei bruni massi d’arenaria. Accanto le scogliere scolpite dal tempo danno vita ad altre due piccole splendide insenature. Le acque sono quasi sempre calme, dalle tonalità turchesi, azzurre e verde smeraldo e dalle trasparenze indescrivibili, ideali per gli amanti di snorkeling e immersioni. Il basso fondale è prevalentemente roccioso, ricco di anfratti nel quale trovano dimora e riparo pesci e altra fauna marina.

it Dopo aver visitato per 3 settimane le spiagge del nord est dichiaro cala spinosa la migliore. Posti all'ombra, non affollatissima, mare stupendo con sabbia, sassi, scogli e punti ideali per tuffarsi. Peccato per il parcheggio a pagamento scomodo e costoso, ma ne vale la pena. Consiglio anche un giro al vicino punto panoramico
